I was born in Bretten city of Germany in 1981, 5th of December. Although German culture is commonly remembered with it’s disciplined society and cold weather, this culture brought me personal qualities such as ability to be social with people, flexible thinking, considering the out of the box point of view and respect to others. I returned back to my home country Turkey in 1994 and completed my high school education and graduated from University of Istanbul, German Language Translation department. In 2003, I had started my Marketing career as an intern and continued my career in corporate multinational companies.
I find the opportunity to seed the inner development of me by meeting Yoga in 2003. My spiritual development started to speed up in 2008 when I met with Mert Guler, one of the most respected Yoga instructor in Turkey. help of the spiritual talks with my self, deep inside I found out that my mission should be contributing to universe’s aim by helping other people.
I had been applying Hatha and Classical Yoga disciplines till I met my dearest teacher Sharat Arora in India and after that I started to concentrate on Iyengar Yoga discipline. With his guidance, I re-discovered direct relation and completeness of Yoga and our health, and started Iyengar Yoga Instructor training which is a 2 and a half years of journey. Knowing that Yoga is a lifetime school, my vision is to visit India every winter to work with my teacher Sharat Arora to reach a deeper spiritual level every year. I continue experiencing, applying and sharing the Yoga philosophy during the times I stay in Turkey. I am living in a small Mediterranean fisher town called Kaş, and give Yoga & Pilates private and group classes in yoga centres and diverse hotels.
